Coz its about very very ordinary people- Sid someone who just runs a book store, who stammers and is kinda a under confident person and a girl who think the world has fallen apart coz her boyfrd ditched her. Nothing exciting in any angle.
The Hero of the movie acts really dumb, he stammers, trips things over, acts very stupid with new people, he is bossed over by his girlfriend and is so so boring that he watches National Geographic channel all the time. What in him can attract me over..? He is just a very sweet guy, I just liked him coz he is straight forward and his simple one formula in life I-cant-let-sum1-die-coz-i-hav-to-sleep nature! He messes up his life wid dumb lies to impress the girl he wants. Simple stuff nothing flashy or too much to take kinds.
The way two ajnabee people meet.. the things the girl sees in a guy.. simple things like not staring at another girl's legs or jus plain honesty. Cute! Cute!
And the friends in his life... The gundu Raghu.. I so loved watching him in Rodies and this one is like a treat to me when he is actually playing a character just like him. The funniest was to watch him dance or the dialog "Ek Pakistani bhai apni Hindustani behen se kuch maang raha hai.." I rolled off laughing at this.
Aliya... the sister. Super character. WOW.. the girl is AWESOME! When she says.. "dont mess wid me, better sort out these things between yourselves" -gr8 moment!
And how the entire gang of frds stick wid each other in situations-laving a wedding dinner to go after a friend. Lying for him, even when they are against him lying. Kinda I miss my frids seeing this one. It also very much reminds me of the movie "Notting Hill" with the whole car chase to get the girl in the end.
Wat I dint like so much was the bridge-jumping thing.. Hmm.. itna drama nahin hona tha..! I like the ending again where he is kicked by all his frds.
